Rules and Guidelines for Hot Topic Site
Welcome to Mrs. Rodarte's Hot Topic Website! I hope this site serves as a springboard for discussions where you can share your views and opinions about themes or other hot topics discussed in class. I also hope that this website serves as an academic tool for you, the students, as well as myself. Therefore, I want this site and the opinions of your classmates to be treated responsibly and respectfully. There are two aspects to this website:
1) Mandatory discussion responses for literature and religion at a bi-monthly basis.
2) Extra credit opportunity given by my notice (After my notice, students can log in and share what they personally learned during an in-class discussion)
Rules and Guidelines:
1) All responses must be turned in on time. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. (teacher will notify as to submissions/deadlines)
2) All responses must be lengthy. Length must be no less than one complete paragraph (5 sentences) and no more than two paragraphs.
3) Everything in the response must be specific and MUST be in correct grammar. This includes names of people, places, dates, etc.
4) You must respond to at least one of your classmates blogs. It should be one paragraph long. Remember, this is an academic blog, NOT a social blog.
5.) For Privacy: NEVER use LAST NAMES or EMAIL ADDRESS! Students should only use First names and/or assigned class numbers.
***If at any point I find you are misusing the website, a "0" will be appointed for this portion of your final grade.
